This example shows the form’s characteristic features: a massive plank top with deep overhang, square legs and stretchers of robust construction, and decoration confined to shallow chip carving, here worked in lozenges and geometric bands across the drawer fronts, frieze and legs. The iron ring pulls and the deep, sun-bleached patina of the top add to its strongly sculptural, architectural presence. Equally effective as a desk, console or kitchen table, it brings the austere beauty of Spanish country furniture to a contemporary interior.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"0","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":67664188309559,"sku":"VS2368","price":8950.0,"currency_code":"AUD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/2322\/8433\/files\/VS23682522.jpg?v=1793698530","url":"https:\/\/thevaultsydney.com\/products\/a-spanish-baroque-carved-walnut-table-17th-18th-century","provider":"The Vault Sydney","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
