A Pair of Spanish Gilt Wrought Iron Stools, circa 1950s–60s

Each stool with a rectangular seat upholstered in tan leather, with a central band of rust-red velvet edged in gilt braid.

The seat is finished with a multicoloured fringe and brass nailheads. It is raised on a hand-forged gilt iron base of curule form, with S-scroll supports curling into volutes at the feet and joined by a scrolled stretcher.
