A Set of Six Louis XIII Beech Dining Chairs
Each chair has an arched, serpentine-topped back and an overupholstered seat, both covered in natural linen. The chairs stand on baluster- and ring-turned front legs with square blocks at the joints and bun feet, and on square-section rear legs. The legs are joined by turned front and side stretchers, with a turned H-form stretcher below. The whole is finished in a dark stain.
