Plaster Bust of the Head of the Farnese Hercules
With a lovely patina
The marble sculpture of the famous Farnese Hercules was copied after an ancient Greek bronze created in the 4th Century B.C. The Farnese copy was made larger by Glykon for the Baths of Caracalla in Rome, and it now stands in the Archeological Museum in Naples.
