Luiza Miller (Brazilian, 1917–2003) was a sculptor originally from Brazil, who immigrated to Paris in 1947.

After her arrival in Paris, she entered Ossip Zadkine’s studio, La Grande Chaumière, and was quickly recognized as one of his most talented students.

Up until 1956, he work was largely figurative, primarily focused on busts and bodies in motion. She then explored abstract sculpture, creating classical pieces influenced by Cubism. During this period, she participated in many important exhibitions at the Paris School, in addition to solo shows and commissions.
