A Directoire Plum Pudding Mahogany Commode, French, Late 18th / Early 19th Century
The moulded white veined marble top with rounded front corners above three frieze drawers divided by rectangular brass plaques, over two long drawers, each drawer front veneered in mottled mahogany within a moulded border, fitted with brass rosette ring pulls and bail handles, between rounded stop-fluted solid mahogany stiles capped in brass, on tapering turned legs with brass collars and sabots.
