Each lamp with a tapering polygonal shade constructed of vertical bamboo staves bound at the upper and lower registers with rattan cord, the protruding stave ends left proud at the crown to form a characterful spiked coronet, the panels between infilled with parchment or vellum-effect fabric diffusing a warm ambient light, above a single bamboo stem standard rising from a circular coiled rattan base of spiralling concentric form, the whole in honey-toned natural bamboo and rattan with the warm, gently darkened patina of age.
