An Italian Brass and Glass Six-Light Chandelier, in the manner of Fontana Arte
The chandelier hangs from a domed brass ceiling cup and chain. Two slender brass rods descend from the cup to support a rectangular frame of thick, green-edged plate-glass slabs. The slabs are held at the corners and centres by brass clamps, which issue pairs of sweeping, horn-like scrolled arms. The arms carry six cream-painted cup nozzles fitted with tapering parchment shades, their edges finished with stitching
